Job summary

DCS Asset Maintenance in Plano/Dallas is seeking a seasoned project-asset manager to oversee total asset management for highway contracts. The role requires leadership of multiple teams and accountability for project performance and safety.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of management in maintenance contracts, a civil engineering degree preferred, strong budgeting skills, and availability around the clock to support project needs.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10+ years' management experience related to total routine maintenance contracts, and snow and ice control.
• College degree is strongly preferred with a preference for a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or comparable)
• Knowledge of financial goals and terminology
• Ability to prepare and manage budgets successfully, as well as regular project budget forecasting
• Must be available 24/7 to the project

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Management and Operations of Complex Highway Projects/Contracts.
• Develop and periodically revise a work plan for maintenance and operations within project limits.
• Manage all employees including Asst. Project Managers, Supervisors, technicians, and staff.
• Monitor all Project overheads to ensure proper expense management and profitability.
• Monitor fleet and equipment utilization to meet contract needs.
• Coordinate training and development with corporate and project management.
