Job summary

Kimmel & Associates, Inc. represents an opportunity for a Project Superintendent based in Ashburn, VA to oversee field operations, coordinate subcontractors and material deliveries, and ensure safety, efficiency, and profitability on highway infrastructure and site projects.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in site work or road construction, strong leadership, and the ability to manage schedules and stakeholder communications across complex projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in site work and/or road construction.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Experience calculating material quantities and coordinating trucking and deliveries to support project budgets and schedules.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily construction operations to maintain productivity, schedule adherence, quality, and profitability.
• Plan and prioritize work activities, coordinating company crews, subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries.
• Maintain continuity and communication among field personnel and project teams to support efficient execution.
• Interpret blueprints, construction plans, specifications, and contract documents to guide field activities.
• Calculate material quantities and trucking requirements to support jobsite efficiency and budget objectives.
• Conduct routine safety and quality inspections and ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Maintain professional relationships with owners, government agencies, inspectors, subcontractors, vendors, and other project representatives.
• Identify field challenges, coordinate solutions, and communicate project needs to the appropriate team members.
• Promote a safe, productive, and collaborative work environment while adhering to company procedures and ethical standards.
