Job summary

Pennoni seeks a Senior Highway Engineer and Project Manager for the Transportation Division at the Wyoming Valley (Plains) PA office. The ideal candidate will lead complex highway projects, coordinate with clients and agencies, and oversee PennDOT PS&E documentation and drainage/permitting efforts.

Required 8–12 years of experience, PA PE license, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD, and related software is expected. MS degree is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required; MS is a plus.
• Experience with PennDOT design criteria and roadway design standards.
• Minimum 8–12 years of work experience and PA PE license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex highway engineering projects and schedules.
• Coordinate with project team, clients, and reviewing agencies.
• Lead PennDOT PS&E documentation and roadway development plans.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to staff.
• Develop and manage project budgets and proposals.
• Maintain client relationships with public and private clients.
