Jobot seeks an experienced Highway Engineer to design and manage highway and multimodal transportation projects in Maryland. The role includes design work, mentoring junior engineers, and coordinating with clients on complex roadway projects.

Requires a BS in Civil Engineering, a Maryland PE license, and 11–15 years of highway engineering experience, with proficiency in MicroStation, InRoads, OpenRoads and AutoCAD. This hybrid position offers a competitive salary and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• Maryland PE license required.
• 11–15 years of highway engineering experience.
• Experience with highway design and contract documents.
• Proficiency with MicroStation, InRoads, OpenRoads and AutoCAD preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design and development of highway and transportation projects.
• Roadway alignments, geometric design, multimodal projects and roadside safety.
• Prepare and review construction plans, specifications, cost estimates and reports.
• Ensure compliance with AASHTO, FHWA, and state DOT standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Serve as primary client and stakeholder contact.
• Support business development through proposals and client presentations.
