Job summary

The Specialized Recruiting Group in Charlotte is seeking a Construction Manager for a homebuilder client. The CM will oversee the complete homebuilding process from construction start through post-closing, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and company quality standards.

You will lead Apprentices and Technicians, coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, and manage multiple homes in a high-volume environment with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a high-volume residential production environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple homes throughout all phases of construction while meeting schedules, budgets, quality standards, and customer expectations.
• Walk each permitted home daily to monitor progress, quality, safety, scheduling, and subcontractor performance.
• Review construction plans, specifications, start packages, purchase orders, homeowner selections, change orders, and related documentation for accuracy.
