Job summary

The AES Corporation is seeking a High Voltage Senior Analyst to lead data-driven improvements for solar PV and high voltage systems. You will drive strategies to improve performance, manage projects, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance reliability and efficiency across wind, solar, and storage sites.

Based in Lancaster, CA, you will report to the BOP Manager in the Maintenance Support Services Team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with an associate degree in electrical engineering.
• NFPA 70E arc flash requirements knowledge.
• Experience in maintaining overhead and underground electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and document protection system operations; report mis-operations; develop corrective action plans.
• Download relay event files to assist engineering in identifying faults.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment: switchgear, transformers, relays, breakers.
• Coordinate outages and manage multiple contractors and suppliers.
• Maintain records and ensure tools/parts are stocked.
