Job summary

INEOS is seeking a Power Distribution Technician to support maintenance of high voltage distribution systems (up to 69kV) at the Texas City facility. The role involves coordinating with engineers and field personnel to ensure reliable power delivery and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years high voltage experience (480V+) in a plant.
• NFPA 70E - electrical safety standard knowledge.
• Working knowledge of codes (API, ASME, ANSI, NFPA, ISA, IEEE, NETA).

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on 69kV and related relay hardware.
• Provide switching orders and isolate work areas with minimal outages.
• Maintain records of distribution equipment maintenance.
• Ensure reliable operation of high voltage equipment.
• Inspect and maintain overhead power distribution lines.
