Job summary

Air Liquide Large Industries in Pasadena, TX is seeking a High Voltage Electrical Technician to maintain MV/HV distribution equipment and motors, lead preventive maintenance during turnarounds, and support field crews. The role requires 5+ years in plant electrical maintenance, MV/HV experience, and strong CMMS Maximo usage.

The candidate must be highly organized, able to plan and schedule maintenance, and willing to work extended hours or on-call as business needs dictate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years experience in plant electrical maintenance.
• Experience with medium/high voltage distribution systems and motors.
• Experience in troubleshooting plant electrical maintenance problems.
• Working knowledge of CMMS, Maximo preferred.
• Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work.
• Experience in proactive planning and scheduling of maintenance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Support and comply with safety, health, and environmental procedures.
• Provide technical assistance to field personnel in MV/HV motors and distribution equipment.
• Manage preventive maintenance (PM) during turnarounds.
• Direct and oversee vendor shop repairs on high voltage equipment and motors to ensure quality and standards.
• Ensure proper documentation of work within CMMS (Maximo).
• Develop detailed scopes for electrical projects and maintenance activity.
• Coordinate technicians to execute maintenance work and lead training for staff.
• Maintain high PM compliance and promote continuous improvement of PM details and job plans.
