Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring a Lineperson Class B in Arkansas. As a line worker you will install and fix overhead distribution and transmission systems, including poles, cables, and electrical equipment; you also maintain underground cables and equipment.

The role requires climbing, operating heavy equipment, and performing construction, maintenance or repair on energized lines while following safety rules. A valid CDL is preferred and travel for storm work may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years experience in electrical power line construction.
• Ability to provide proof of work experience and certifications.
• Knowledge of energized high voltage systems and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Setting poles and anchors; stringing overhead wire.
• Installing transformers, switches, and insulators.
• Performing construction, maintenance, or repair on energized/de-energized lines with safety rules.
• Troubleshooting issues on primary and secondary systems.
• Replacing fuses, clearing faults, and inspecting tools/equipment daily.
• Report injuries or safety concerns to Foreperson.
