Saulsbury Industries is seeking a HV Construction Project Director to lead the construction execution of a portfolio of Substation and Transmission projects. The role provides senior leadership for construction execution across multiple projects and oversees Construction Managers and Superintendents.

Qualifications

• 15+ years’ experience managing substation related construction projects.
• 10+ years of experience with energizing and placing HV projects in service.
• Construction or Engineering Degree Required.
• Engineering experience preferred.
• Up to 75% travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the construction execution for a portfolio of Substation and Transmission projects, ensuring profitability, safety, quality, and timely completion.
• Provide senior leadership, oversight, and escalation support to construction teams including Construction Managers and Superintendents.
• Establish execution, safety, quality, productivity, and accountability standards across the portfolio.
• Bid support for substation projects.
• Develop and mentor construction teams and coordinate with internal Saulsbury departments across multiple disciplines.
• Coordinate resources—personnel, material, equipment, and subcontractors—to optimize methods and costs.
• Represent Saulsbury at project meetings and ensure alignment with project schedules, material management, and cost control.
• Contribute to constructability feedback to engineering during design and enforce policies and process improvements.
