Job summary

NVIDIA seeks a Senior Mixed Signal Design Engineer to join the Mixed Signal design team building next generation NVLINK. You will work on high-speed interfaces and analog circuits, leading designs from concept through silicon characterization in a dynamic tech environment.

The role emphasizes CMOS analog/mixed-signal expertise, mentorship, and lab bring-up. Expect collaboration across multi-functional teams and opportunities to contribute to data converters, Tx/Rx, CDR, PLL for high-speed IO.

Qualifications

• MS in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience), PhD preferred
• 4+ years of design experience in CMOS analog / mixed-signal circuit
• Working knowledge of Cadence custom design tools, circuit simulator, timing analysis tool
• Extensive design experience in Data Converters, Tx, Rx, CDR, PLL for high-speed IO interfaces
• Strong teamwork and mentoring experience
• Deep submicron CMOS process understanding and related circuit design issues
• Proven silicon bring-up, debugging and lab instrumentation experience
• Knowledge in system-level timing budget, signal integrity, and power integrity is a plus
• Experience in Verilog, Matlab, Nanotime is helpful

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-speed interface circuits
• Lead projects including high speed transceivers and high frequency PLLs
• Collaborate on design, simulation, and verification of mixed-signal circuits
• Mentor mask designers and guide floorplan/layout efforts
• Support lab characterization of silicon and address deep submicron CMOS challenges
• Take designs through implementation and productization
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams
