Job summary

Antares seeks an electrical engineering leader to own the high‑power electrical architecture for a scalable nuclear energy plant. Define DC bus topology, protection, grounding, and integration with energy storage and grid-tied systems.

You will drive supplier selection, validation, and roadmap for future power deployment, coordinating with test teams and controls to ensure safe, reliable operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years in power electronics or high power electrical systems with architecture ownership.
• Experience with DC bus architectures, protection, grounding, and fault current analysis.
• Hands-on with grid-tied inverters, DC/DC conversion, and battery energy storage integration.
• Experience with high power inverter applications and relevant codes/standards.

Responsibilities

• Own the high power electrical architecture of the plant and define performance requirements.
• Lead supplier selection, validation, and long-term relationship management.
• Define expansion and scalability strategies for multi-reactor deployment.
• Ensure HV system integration across multiple vendors and use cases.
• Oversee HV testing, data logging, and automation of test campaigns.
• Drive roadmap decisions, model correlation, and design iterations from test results.
• Shape equipment pad layout with mechanical and harnessing teams.
