Baker Tilly US, LLP is seeking a High Net Worth Tax Managing Director to lead the private wealth tax practice, serving wealthy individuals, families, and family offices with comprehensive tax planning and advisory services.

You will mentor and develop staff, manage complex engagements, and collaborate with firm leadership to grow client relationships and revenue. This senior role requires extensive tax experience and strong leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in accounting or law required.
• CPA or JD required.
• 8+ years in tax planning and consulting for wealthy individuals, family members and their trusts, investment entities, and private businesses.
• 4+ years supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; able to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals, multi-generational families, family offices and their private businesses/investment entities.
• Manage engagements, staffing, billing, and profitability targets.
• Develop and grow client relationships with a focus on ownership and advisory services.
• Mentor and develop staff through Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to drive growth in the private wealth tax practice.
