Qualifications

• Must have hands-on PCB layout experience for high-density designs.
• Strong knowledge of high-speed digital layout rules and impedance control.
• Experience with Allegro PCB and CAD software (Cadence Allegro 23.1+).
• Experience with HDI via technology (Blind/Buried).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end PCB layout for high-density designs used in data center server boards.
• Perform high-speed digital layout for interfaces such as PCIe Gen5/6, DDR5, USB 3.2, with impedance control and crosstalk mitigation.
• Develop layout design rules for high-speed digital, analog, mixed-signal, and power domains.
• Review schematics with engineers and provide layout-driven feedback on placement and routing.
• Coordinate with mechanical team on board outline, connector placement, thermal management, and stack-up definition.
• Drive DFx reviews with contract manufacturers to ensure yield and reliability.
• Maintain and improve PCB design standards, layer stacks, and footprints across programs.
• Provide layout documentation, net tracing support, and revision analysis for prototypes and production boards.
