What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide analytical and methodological expertise to support business development and reimbursement strategies
- Participate in study design, protocol development, and analysis of administrative healthcare claims data
- Execute retrospective analyses of claims data using SAS, including data cleaning and preparation
- Develop summaries of complex analyses for internal and external presentations
- Expand best practices within the Neuroscience HEOR team on data manipulation and coding
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Baccalaureate degree
- Minimum of 4 years of health economics and outcomes research experience, or an advanced degree with at least 2 years of experience
- Proficiency in SAS programming
- Proven ability to work effectively as a team player in a highly matrixed organization
- Experience analyzing large administrative claims or EHR databases
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- MS/MA/MPH in Biostatistics/Statistics, Economics/Health Economics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Data Science, or Computer Science
- Experience with advanced predictive modeling techniques and their application to healthcare data
- Familiarity with medical code sets (ICD-10-CM, CPT, NDC)
- Comfort with data visualization and study report preparation
- Proficiency in econometric modeling methods
