What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide analytical and methodological expertise to support business development and reimbursement strategies
- Participate in study design, protocol development, and analysis of healthcare claims data for publication
- Execute retrospective analyses of claims data sources using SAS, including data cleaning and preparation
- Assist in establishing coding and analysis infrastructure for new data assets
- Translate results of data analyses for presentation to internal and external stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Requires a Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 4 years of health economics and outcomes research experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience
- Proven ability to work effectively as a team player in a highly matrixed organization
- Experience with statistical software (e.g., SAS, R, or Python) for analyzing large datasets
- Basic familiarity with medical code sets (ICD-10-CM, CPT, NDC)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- MS/MA/MPH in Biostatistics, Statistics, Economics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Data Science, or Computer Science
- SAS programming experience with the ability to provide sample code
- Experience with advanced predictive modeling techniques and their application to retrospective healthcare data
- Demonstrated business communication and presentation skills, both live and remote
- Comfort with data visualization and study report preparation
