Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines in New Jersey is recruiting a Senior Medical Science Liaison specializing in hematology. The MSL will build scientific relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals and support investigator-initiated studies.

You will deliver data-driven insights, use AI tools for decision support, and ensure compliant, non-promotional exchange while advancing medical strategy.

Qualifications

• Doctorate level degree (PharmD/PhD/MD) or equivalent experience.
• At least 2+ years of relevant MSL experience.
• Strong scientific acumen and ability to communicate complex data.
• Ability to travel up to 70% within the territory.
• Must hold a valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a scientific engagement plan for the territory.
• Engage in high-quality two-way scientific exchange with KOLs and HCPs.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with community and academic HCPs/KOLs in the territory.
• Utilize insights and MSL tools to plan customer engagements and identify gaps.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance decision making, streamline processes, and improve outcomes.
• Address provider educational needs with balanced, evidence-based responses.
• Deliver scientific data tailored to HCP needs through clear dialogue and presentation.
• Collect and share actionable insights to inform medical strategy and asset planning.
• Provide point-of-contact support for investigators and internal partners for studies.
• Respond to unsolicited research/clinical inquiries with scientifically sound, compliant information.
• Execute Medical Affairs strategy and MSL priorities with adaptability.
