Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines is recruiting for a Senior Medical Science Liaison - Hematology to cover New Jersey. The role focuses on scientific engagement with KOLs and healthcare professionals to understand treatment landscapes, identify gaps, and advance medical education across oncology hematology indications.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree required (PharmD/PhD/MD or equivalent).
• 2+ years of MSL experience, preferably in hematology.
• Strong scientific acumen and data interpretation skills.
• Ability to travel up to 70% within the territory.
• Valid US driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a scientific engagement plan aligned with Medical Affairs strategy.
• Engage in high-quality, two-way scientific exchange with KOLs and HCPs.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with community and academic HCPs/KOLs.
• Use insights to develop strategic approaches for customer engagements within territory.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance decision making and efficiency.
• Deliver tailored scientific data in clear, balanced discussions with stakeholders.
• Collect and submit actionable insights to inform medical strategy and cross-functional discussions.
• Provide point-of-contact support for investigators and internal partners.
• Respond to unsolicited inquiries with scientifically sound information.
• Collaborate with MSLs, R&D and US/Global Medical Affairs teams.
