Huntington National Bank is seeking an experienced Corporate Accounting Manager-Sr to support the Accounting Policy function and Treasury Controller in implementing and maintaining the hedge accounting portfolio.

The role involves direct collaboration with the Treasury Controller, the Accounting Policy Director, and senior Corporate Treasury management to ensure accurate accounting, reporting, and governance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• CPA or CFA required.
• Minimum 7 years accounting experience with capital markets and financial products, hedge accounting and correlation testing.

Aufgaben

• Provide oversight of hedge accounting process from valuation, testing, controls and reporting.
• Assist with hedge accounting research and advise on implications for new/existing relationships.
• Perform retrospective and prospective hedge correlation testing timely.
• Review hedge accounting documentation and coordinate with external auditors; prepare hedge accounting results.
• Oversee month-end reconciliation and close processes for derivatives; escalate issues to senior management.
• Identify process improvements and enhance IT solutions within hedge accounting.
