Job summary

Petroplan is seeking an experienced HEC Senior Project Manager/Project Manager to lead a substantial portfolio of projects in Raleigh, Charlotte or Winston-Salem, NC. You will manage scope, schedules, budgets, and quality while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and maintaining strong client relations for public and private sector projects.

Qualifications

• 6–12 years of relevant professional experience with demonstrated project management or project delivery experience.
• Experience managing complex projects within engineering and design environments (HEC sector or closely related).
• Experience with K-12 education, civic, public sector or institutional projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the successful delivery of multiple HEC projects, overseeing scope, schedules, budgets, resources and project quality.
• Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary project teams, working closely with design professionals, engineers and technical staff.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, design consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Collaborate within integrated design teams, ensuring clear communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and challenges, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
• Manage project financial performance, including budgets, profitability, forecasting and resource allocation.
• Support development of project scopes, proposals, schedules and fee estimates as required.
• Identify opportunities to connect clients with broader multidisciplinary services and support cross-selling across the business.
• Contribute to growth and development of the HEC team and expand into additional markets.
