Job summary

Warren CAT is seeking a Heavy Haul Driver III to operate a class 8 tractor and trailer, transporting heavy machinery to diverse sites. You will manage up to 95,000 pounds loads, secure cargo to standards, and maintain safety through detailed inspections and logs.

The role requires a Class A CDL, DOT medical card, and a track record of safe high-point haul operations. Travel up to 100% and strict adherence to regulations are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; plus college credits or training.
• Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card required.
• Ability to secure loads per regulations and inspect equipment.
• Experience with heavy-haul configurations and complex axles is preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Drive class 8 tractor-trailer with up to 8 axles.
• Haul oversized/heavy machinery up to 95,000 pounds.
• Load/unload and secure cargo per regulations.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report deficiencies.
• Maintain electronic logs and communicate delivery status.
• Coordinate with dispatch and customers as needed.
