Job summary

REMPREX, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Lead to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on intermodal heavy equipment in an outdoor setting. This role includes coordinating with facility managers, securing parts, and guiding on-site technicians to maintain operations.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of heavy equipment experience, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to read schematics with a focus on safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 7+ years' experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment (e.g., forklifts, man lifts).
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Own basic hand tools and willingness to work outdoors in all weather.
• Willing to work after hour call outs and travel as needed.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Read electrical and hydraulic schematics and perform repairs.
• Repair and maintain heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment.
• Troubleshoot and repair systems and components as required.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
• Conduct detailed equipment inspections per OEM specs and safety guidelines.
