Job summary

Aaction Rents in California is seeking a Senior Equipment Technician with 10+ years of mechanical repair experience. You will diagnose tough problems, perform enduring repairs, and keep equipment moving from shop to jobsite, playing a pivotal role for our customers.

This hands-on role includes mentoring technicians, collaborating with the Service Coordinator, and delivering reliable service. A strong background in electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems is required, along with a CA driver’s

Qualifications

Requires 10+ years of mechanical maintenance and repair experience on heavy equipment and trucks.
At least 2 years of diesel repair experience.
Strong electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid California driver’s license with clean record.
Ability to work independently while mentoring others.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental equipment, heavy equipment, and trucks.
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and testing for safe operation.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment at customer jobsites.
Mentor technicians and help shop and store employees build skills.
Communicate repair progress and maintain service records with the Service Coordinator.
Complete at least 20 hours of continuing education annually.
