Responsibilities

• Operates bulldozer, front end loader, drag line compactor, motor grader, backhoe, scraper pan, roller, asphalt lay down machine, etc.
• Dig pits, push down trees, stockpile gravel/sand/dirt, cut subgrade, landscaping, burn and bury waste materials, clean drainage, grade roads.
• Perform maintenance services and minor repairs on equipment; ensure equipment is secure after shift.
• Promote a safe work environment.
• May serve as crew leader in their absence.
• Respond to Duty Phone on weekends.
• Attendance is essential.
• Exhibit City of Harker Heights core values.
• Perform other assigned duties.
