Job summary

Gulfshoresal in Texas is seeking a skilled construction equipment operator to maintain and repair streets, drainage, and alley systems. You will operate heavy machinery such as track excavators, loaders, and backhoe loaders, either alone or with a crew, to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently.

A valid Texas Class B CDL with Tanker Endorsement is required on hire with the plan to upgrade to a Class A within 180 days.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes.
• Ability to operate safely and effectively.
• Understanding of pavement maintenance and construction.
• Basic grading and excavation techniques knowledge.
• Ability to perform minor field repairs on equipment.
• Ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Operate a range of heavy and light equipment to maintain and construct streets, drainage, and alley systems.
• Work solo or with a crew to complete assigned tasks.
• Perform routine checks and minor adjustments on equipment in the field.
