Casella Construction, Inc. in New Hampshire seeks a Senior Heavy Equipment Operator to lead complex tasks on civil projects. You will operate bulldozers, loaders and excavators, coordinate with crew, and uphold safety standards on site.

With 7+ years of relevant experience, you’ll perform pre-shift inspections, read project plans, and train or supervise others as needed. The role requires flexibility, weekend or night work, and travel as necessary.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience operating bulldozers, loaders and excavators in civil construction.
• Strong safety focus and technical competence in construction tasks.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends/nights.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe work environment.
• Directs and lead work of other laborers and operators as necessary.
• Executes all job duties of Operator 2 without supervision.
• Operates heavy equipment including loaders, bulldozers, and excavators to complete tasks.
• Performs daily pre/post equipment inspections.
• Monitors gauges and indicators to ensure safe operation.
• Maintains records of time and materials used.
• Completes daily paperwork.
