Job summary

Kalmar USA, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Intermodal in Memphis, TN to troubleshoot, repair and maintain Kalmar and third‑party equipment.

You will provide detailed reports, offer technical advice, and uphold a safe work environment while delivering exceptional customer service. The role requires a technical diploma/certificate (or equivalent), minimum 15 years of field experience with heavy industrial equipment, and the ability to read drawings and hydraulic

Qualifications

• Technical diploma/certificate preferred; high school diploma or GED required; must have valid driver’s license
• Minimum 15 years' experience maintaining and/or repairing heavy industrial equipment with exposure to Electrical Systems, Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Mechanical Systems, PLC controlled systems (preferred)
• Experience on Kalmar, Taylor, MiJack and/or Remprex equipment is a plus

Responsibilities

• Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and Electronics diagnosis & repair of intermodal cargo handling equipment; regular preventative maintenance; assist with warranty claims
