Job summary

Bettis Asphalt & Construction, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Heavy Equipment Finish Operator to safely operate heavy machinery on construction sites, stay current with GPS Grade Control, and support efficient project progress while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will perform prestart checks, assist with fluid checks, secure and move equipment, and complete daily maintenance. Work under the Foreman or Superintendent; maintain clean jobsites, collaborate with team, and adhere to

Qualifications

• Over 18 years of age.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license; Class A CDL preferred.
• Complete pre-employment testing, including a drug screen and physical.
• High school education or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently per policy and manufacturer guidance.
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
• May operate trucks to transport equipment to and from job sites as required.
• Report problems and malfunctions to supervisor promptly.
• Ability to correctly operate grade control technology.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site daily.
• Support team as a productive member and uphold safety rules.
