Job summary

Gary Carpenter Construction Inc is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to perform finish grade work using GPS integration. You’ll run dozers, excavators, skid steers, loaders, and compactors to prepare sites on schedule.

You must have at least two years of GPS site solutions experience (Trimble/Topcon/Leica), be comfortable operating on uneven and tight spaces, and follow safety rules on outdoor construction sites. Prioritize teamwork and reliability in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Two years of working knowledge of GPS Site Solutions products.
• Experience operating heavy equipment (dozers, excavators, skid steers, loaders, compactors).
• Must be able to work with the foreman to meet job specs while performing site prep.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment for site prep, grading, trenching, and excavation.
• Read grades, take measurements, and coordinate with the foreman to meet specs.
• Load trucks and move dirt, rock, and materials.
• Perform daily equipment checks and report issues.
• Keep equipment clean and running properly.
