Job summary

SANY America is seeking an Advanced Road Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain SANY and other heavy equipment at customer sites and in the Tulsa shop. You will lead complex diagnostics, engage OEM software, and support safety and uptime with proactive service.

Based in Tulsa, this role requires travel to customer locations (50%+), strong mechanical aptitude, welding/fabrication skills, and the ability to train junior technicians while upholding OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school preferred.
• 5+ years diagnosing and repairing construction or heavy equipment.
• Proficiency in hydraulic systems, diesel engines, electrical diagnostics, and powertrains.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL or ability to obtain one is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in varying conditions (shop and field).
• Welding and fabrication experience; ability to train and lead less experienced technicians.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair SANY and other make of equipment in shop or at customer locations.
• Perform advanced preventive maintenance and inspections to support reliability and safety.
• Use diagnostic tools, OEM software, schematics, and manuals to resolve malfunctions.
• Lead or assist with overhauls and major component replacements.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications as required.
• Provide on-site customer support and build relationships for repeat business.
• Communicate repair costs, timelines, and equipment status to managers and customers.
• Complete accurate service reports and required paperwork after each assignment.
