Job summary

Aloha Petroleum, LTD is seeking an experienced heavy truck and trailer mechanic in Hawaii to diagnose, repair, and maintain a diverse fleet. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose major component issues, and supervise repairs while coordinating with the logistics team for efficient operations.

The role requires a minimum of five years’ experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and state inspections familiarity. CDL A and TWIC credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years' experience in heavy truck and trailer maintenance and repair.
• Working knowledge of the systems and components listed above.
• Experience dealing with parts and service vendors.
• Experience maintaining vehicle maintenance records.
• Experience with PM scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose maintenance and repair problems on major components and systems.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on tractors and trailers.
• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure mechanical soundness.
• Coordinate with logistics and fleet managers for scheduled work.
• Maintain shop, tools, and equipment in good condition.
• Record PM services and repair work accurately.
• Oversee repairs by outside vendors when needed.
• Manage parts orders and inventory with local vendors.
