Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
• Good understanding of mechanical components and repairs.
• Ability to read, write, speak and type in English.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and assign jobs and work areas to diesel technicians to promote quality and productivity.
• Follow status of work to ensure timely completion.
• Gather information from customers including unit number, payment method, repair timeline and contact preferences.
• Open repair orders and search for recalls or campaigns.
• Identify related service bulletins before repairs begin.
• Review work orders and communicate concerns to customers.
• Write and provide accurate estimates of time and cost to customers.
• Audit work orders prior to billing and maintain customer relationships.
