You will read complex drawings with GD&T, perform in-process inspections, manage rigging and crane operations, and collaborate with engineering on setup strategies while maintaining traceability and documentation.

Safety and precision are paramount, with responsibility for program edits and tool checks to prevent delays.

Qualifications

• Experience operating large-scale CNC machinery (HBMs/VTLs) and reading engineering drawings with GD&T.
• Proficiency in rigging and crane safety protocols.
• Ability to perform CNC program edits and understand Fanuc controls.
• Experience with precision inspection and metrology methods.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate horizontal boring mills and vertical turret lathes to meet specs.
• Move and rig heavy workpieces safely using overhead cranes.
• Perform in-process dimensional inspections using precision metrology tools.
• Make offset adjustments and program edits to optimize machining performance.
• Collaborate with engineering to develop efficient setup strategies for complex parts.
• Maintain documentation and traceability throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.
• Identify tooling or safety concerns to avoid production delays.
