Job summary

Ferrovial's Webber division in Houston seeks a seasoned Superintendent to oversee heavy highway and civil construction projects, manage skilled crews, and enforce safety, quality, and budget discipline on site.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers and subcontractors to plan work, allocate resources, and keep milestones on track while upholding Ferrovial's standards and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) or more years of heavy highway and civil construction as a superintendent.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• English communication proficiency; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Moderate computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.
• Mathematical proficiency related to basic accounting, geometry, algebra, and mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the project schedule by milestone reviews and coordinating with management on changes.
• Manage work planning: machinery needs, personnel, road closures, and progress updates.
• Review schedules, address delays, and implement strategies to meet milestones.
• Monitor budgets and production, providing solutions to keep projects on track and within cost.
• Lead and mentor the crew, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with company policies.
