Granite Construction Inc. is seeking an experienced Planning and Scheduling Lead for heavy civil projects.

The role involves developing baseline schedules, integrating multiple scheduling tools, and producing detailed narratives for client submissions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to align schedules with estimates and procurement plans, ensuring compliance with contract terms and company standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or comparable discipline is required.
• Equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.
• AACEI PSP, PMI-SP or other professional planning certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee planning and scheduling functions, including policy, process, and procedures, to meet overall operational needs and company objectives.
• Partner with project stakeholders to develop an approved baseline schedule aligning with sequencing and short-interval schedules.
• Create high-quality CPM schedules with resource and cost loads to generate reports addressing questions on the project approach.
• Prepare detailed schedule narratives for formal submissions to convey the company's position to the client.
• Integrate multiple planning and scheduling software into a cohesive plan to streamline project execution.
• Update CPM schedules reflecting requirements and challenges to ensure successful completion.
• Review scheduling specifications and plans, guiding on contractual language to mitigate risks.
• Prepare weekly schedule TIAs, updates, and reconciliation schedules; ensure monthly submissions comply with contract obligations.
• Support development of company-wide planning guidance, processes, and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, leveraging understanding of heavy civil construction methodology.
