Job summary

Raya Workforce seeks an experienced Project Manager to own heavy civil construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This hands-on role coordinates people, subcontractors, materials, schedules, costs, client expectations, and field changes to keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and profitably.

You will collaborate with Project Engineers, Superintendents, field teams, vendors, clients, and accounting to ensure thorough planning, execution, documentation, and proper closeout.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of PM experience in heavy civil construction.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Experience managing projects from pre-construction to closeout.
• Strong understanding of project budgets, costs, billing, and profitability.
• Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, procurement, and project schedules.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• HCSS experience is required.
• Exposure to USACE and FHWA projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead heavy civil construction projects from pre-construction through completion.
• Coordinate resources, manpower, permits, materials, equipment, and other resources before work begins.
• Monitor progress against schedules and goals.
• Work with Superintendents to align field execution with plans.
• Collaborate with Project Engineer on documentation and coordination.
• Identify and resolve project challenges.
• Develop and monitor project budgets and costs.
• Track expenses and coordinate with accounting on financials.
• Support accurate project billings and profitability.
