Job summary

Gibraltar US, Inc. in California is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead heavy civil construction programs from preconstruction through completion.

You will own project budgets, schedules, contracts, and field coordination, coordinating with owners, engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors to deliver on-time, within budget, and to code. Candidates should have 10+ years in heavy civil PM roles, design-build experience on large federal/public works, and proficiency with Procore and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum of ten years as Project Manager in heavy civil construction.
• Experience on at least two design-build projects similar in size, scope, and complexity to large-scale federal or public infrastructure projects.
• Experience on at least two construction projects valued at $10M+.
• Demonstrated experience in client-facing project management roles.
• Experience with federal, state, or municipal clients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedules and timelines to ensure on-time project delivery.
• Monitor project budgets, track costs, and manage financial performance.
• Identify potential cost overruns or savings and implement corrective actions.
• Lead project buyout and procurement activities, including subcontractor and supplier selection and contract negotiation.
• Manage subcontractor performance and ensure work meets contract requirements.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, and field teams to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Ensure all work meets safety standards, quality requirements, and applicable codes and regulations.
• Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and project records.
• Review project documents for accuracy and completeness.
