Job summary

Gibraltar Fabrication in Yuma, AZ, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead heavy civil construction projects from preconstruction through completion. You will manage budgets, schedules, contracts, and field coordination to ensure safe, timely, and successful delivery, coordinating with owners, engineers, inspectors, and field teams.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and a track record in complex federal or public-infrastructure work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager in heavy civil or related construction.
• Experience as PM on at least two design-build projects similar in size, scope, and complexity to large-scale federal or public infrastructure projects.
• Experience serving as Project Manager on at least two construction projects, each with a value of $10 million or more.
• Demonstrated experience in client-facing project management roles.
• Experience working with federal, state, or municipal clients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedules and timelines to ensure on-time project delivery.
• Monitor project budgets, track costs, and manage financial performance.
• Identify potential cost overruns or savings and implement corrective actions.
• Lead project buyout and procurement activities, including subcontractor and supplier selection and contract negotiation.
• Manage subcontractor performance and ensure work meets contract requirements.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, and field teams to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Ensure all work meets safety standards, quality requirements, and applicable codes and regulations.
• Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and project records.
• Review project documents for accuracy and completeness.
