Job summary

Gibralter Border Barriers is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead heavy civil construction projects from preconstruction through completion. The role requires strong cost and schedule control, subcontractor coordination, and client-facing leadership on federal or public infrastructure programs.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of ten years as PM on design-build projects, with multiple $10M+ ventures and proficiency in Procore and Primavera P6, plus knowledge of federal project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of ten years as a Project Manager in heavy civil construction.
• Experience as PM on at least two design-build projects with large scale infra.
• Experience leading projects valued at $10M+ and client-facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project schedules and timelines.
• Monitor budgets and financial performance.
• Identify cost overruns and implement corrective actions.
• Lead buyout and subcontractor procurement and negotiations.
• Manage subcontractor performance to meet contract requirements.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, and field teams.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain project documentation and records.
• Review documents for accuracy and completeness.
