Job summary

Solid Rock Recruiting LLC seeks a Heavy Civil Project Manager in Spokane, WA to lead multi-project delivery from preconstruction through closeout. You will oversee safety, quality, schedule, and budget while coordinating with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams.

The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years in heavy civil construction, strong leadership and communication, and the ability to manage complex earthwork, utilities, roads, and site development projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of project management experience in heavy civil construction.
• Bachelor's degree preferred (construction management, civil engineering) or equivalent.
• Proven experience with earthwork, utilities, roads, site development, bridges, or public infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple heavy civil construction projects from award through completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and field operations.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and change orders.
• Monitor project costs, productivity, and profitability.
• Prepare and negotiate subcontract agreements and purchase orders.
• Support estimating and preconstruction efforts as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Mentor Project Engineers and other project staff.
