Falcon Recruitment seeks a Senior Estimator for heavy civil construction in Tulsa, OK. The role focuses on preparing estimates for earthwork, utilities, concrete, and site development, with a strong emphasis on bid accuracy and competitive pricing.

You will review plans and specs, coordinate with subcontractors, and contribute to value engineering while supporting multiple bids and deadlines. A background in private commercial/sitework projects is valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil construction.
• Experience with dirtwork, utilities, concrete, and site development.
• Ability to read construction drawings, specs, and bid documents; strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete and accurate cost estimates for heavy civil and site development projects.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for earthwork, utilities, concrete, grading, paving.
• Review plans, specifications, geotechnical reports, and bid documents.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Develop competitive bid proposals with value engineering opportunities.
• Analyze project risks, production rates, labor costs, equipment, and material pricing.
• Collaborate with project management, operations, and field teams during preconstruction.
• Participate in bid reviews, scope clarifications, and turnover after award.
• Maintain current pricing databases and estimating best practices.
• Support multiple bids while meeting deadlines.
