Job summary

Elite Surface Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Estimator in Englewood, CO to prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates for heavy civil projects. You will review plans and contract documents to develop detailed takeoffs and bid packages, coordinating with Operations, Project Managers, and suppliers.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of earthwork and utility estimating experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with HCSS HeavyBid.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of earthwork & utilities estimating experience
• Experience estimating heavy civil construction projects
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents
• Proficiency with detailed quantity takeoffs and cost development

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specs, and contract documents for bid scope.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for asphalt, earthwork, utilities, and related scopes.
• Prepare complete estimates using HCSS HeavyBid and other tools.
• Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Coordinate with Operations and Project Managers to ensure realistic production rates.
• Prepare bid packages and ensure all required items are priced.
• Solicit competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist with post-award activities and change order pricing.
