Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering or related field.
• Proficient with Outlook, Excel, Word and estimating software.
• Demonstrated experience with heavy civil construction projects (water/wastewater plants).
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with staff, vendors, and clients.
• Exceptional time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to assist with writing proposals and reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for estimates and proposals including cost analysis, estimate coordination, trade takeoffs, and internal pricing.
• Oversee all capital bids before submission.
• Delegate new customer opportunities within estimating team.
• Evaluate subcontract cost estimates and proposals, and assemble final estimate for owner.
• Drive and maintain all National Opportunities Reporting.
• Perform productivity analysis of cost estimates and data across projects.
• Negotiate with subcontractors and engage in solicitation during bidding.
• Compare and analyze competitive subcontractor and supplier bids.
• Maintain quality standards with subcontractors and vendors in high-volume bids.
• Exceed expectations with customer service and strategic insight.
