Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our heavy civil team in the Greater Philadelphia area. You will prepare comprehensive cost and labor estimates for heavy civil projects, including earthwork, utilities, and roadway construction, and support bid development with sound data analysis.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction estimating, a civil engineering or related degree, and strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction estimating, heavy civil focus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Proficient in cost analysis and bid development for heavy civil projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates for heavy civil projects (earthwork, utilities, roadways).
• Analyze drawings, specs, and proposals to estimate time, cost, and labor.
• Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems for projects.
• Prepare and maintain supplier/subcontractor directories and documentation.
