Job summary

gpac seeks a Senior Civil Estimator for our heavy civil and site development projects. The role emphasizes ACE-style bid preparation, plans and specs review, and robust quantity takeoffs for earthwork, utilities, and paving.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in heavy civil/site development estimating, with proficiency in HCSS HeavyBid, TBC, or Agtek. Strong communication and time management are essential for deadlines and client handoffs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil or site development construction.
• Experience estimating earthwork, grading, underground utilities, paving, land development, roadways.
• Proficiency with HCSS HeavyBid, Trimble Business Center (TBC), Agtek, or similar estimating software is preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and quantity takeoffs.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil or site development construction with a strong background in earthwork, underground utilities, paving, and land development projects.
