Job summary

Bodycote seeks a Quality Manager based in Santa Fe Springs, CA to lead heat-treatment quality operations under the General Manager. You will direct the quality team, maintain procedures to meet customer specs, and coordinate with other departments to ensure NADCAP, ISO and internal standards compliance.

The role requires a metallurgy or materials science background, 3+ years in management, and the ability to drive audits, corrective actions, supplier qualification, PPAP, and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in metallurgy or materials science, or equivalent aerospace heat treat quality experience.
• Experience managing a quality department in a heat-treat environment.
• Knowledge of NADCAP, AS9100/ISO-quality systems and PPAP processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain a documented quality program that meets customer requirements and corporate standards.
• Direct and supervise the quality department staff and activities.
• Coordinate audits, supplier qualification, and process improvements with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure conformance to quality program requirements through internal/external audits and corrective actions.
