The role requires heavy collaboration with project managers and manufacturing facilities to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Responsibilities include issuing RFQs, reviewing vendor drawings, and developing installation/operational manuals tailored to project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering
• 5+ years in design and project engineering
• Experience with manufacturing design and drafting
• Software proficiency: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor
• Professional Engineer license preferred

Responsibilities

• Mechanical/structural design per specs and standards
• Prepare RFQs/requisitions in timely manner
• Submit drawings/docs per contract specs
• Review vendor drawings; authorize docs
• Review non-conformance reports and resolve
• Develop installation and operation manuals for clients
