Job summary

Thermal Engineering International is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to maintain design responsibility for assigned projects and to be the primary contact for the project manager, workshops, vendors, and the client.

Responsibilities include mechanical/structural design, issuing RFQs, submitting drawings per contract specs, reviewing vendor drawings, and producing install/operating manuals tailored to each job. Bachelor’s in engineering and 5+ years’ experience required; PE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in design and project engineering.
• Experience with design and drafting for a manufacturing company.
• Design experience in heat transfer products.
• Registered Professional Engineer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical/structural design in compliance with customer specs and standards.
• Prepare and issue engineering RFQs/Requisitions in a timely manner.
• Submit drawings and documentation per contract specifications.
• Examine and authorize vendor drawings and documents.
• Review non-conformance reports from manufacturing facilities.
• Develop installation and operations manuals for specific jobs.
