Job summary

Chewy is seeking a Senior Category Manager to join our Healthcare merchandising team. Location is flexible across Boston, MA, Plantation, FL, or Seattle, WA.

You will own the category P&L, manage vendor relationships, and drive growth through data-driven strategies. You’ll lead cross-functional initiatives with finance, marketing, supply chain, and pricing; recruit new customers and deepen engagement via lifecycle concepts.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Category Management, Merchandising, Buying, or related roles.
• Deep expertise in vendor management, merchandising, sales, and marketing.
• Strong written and oral communication with solid business judgment.
• Strong analytics, problem-solving, and execution focus.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; retail math; SQL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the category, own the P&L and vendor relationships.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, rebates, and assortments with partners.
• Develop strategies from research and data to grow customers.
• Analyze sales data, gaps, and market trends to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with finance, marketing, supply chain, and pricing.
• Help launch new initiatives and engagements.
