Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a Senior Program Manager to identify efficiency opportunities and guide large-scale initiatives from discovery to implementation. You will work with cross-system leaders to drive improvements in clinical outcomes, operations, and cost savings.

The role requires seven+ years in healthcare or consulting, with 3+ years in project management, and strong data-analysis, communication, and budgeting skills. Travel across sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Healthcare-related field.
• Masters preferred in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Analytics, or related field.
• Minimum seven years professional experience, preferably in healthcare or consulting.
• At least three years project management or leadership experience.
• Experience in data analysis, reporting and effective presentation.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for improvement with departmental resources and develop qualitative and quantitative analyses.
• Collect data to support value-add improvements in clinical outcomes, efficiency, or financial performance.
• Prepare business proposals and presentations to communicate analysis to stakeholders and leadership.
• Develop detailed project plans with milestones and timelines; manage assigned teams across departments.
• Facilitate cross-department meetings to communicate project objectives and secure buy-in.
• Cultivate relationships with senior leadership and mentor team members to improve performance.
• Develop budgets for projects and coach others on budgeting practices.
• Create analytical tools to track performance post-implementation.
